International Students
Each year, the Infantry School trains between 750 and 1,300 students.
Officers, noncommissioned officers and civilian employees from more than 109
nations attend the full range of 15 leader and special skill courses taught at
Fort Benning. International military students attend regularly scheduled courses
and are enrolled together with U.S. students.
Fort Benning is the sole training location for all branches of
the Armed Services. Fort Benning also supports training for all Federal Agencies
in some form. This includes DEA, FBI and elements of the Department of Homeland
Security as well as other federal agencies.
Fort Benning is a multi-national installation receiving international leaders
and military forces from around the world. These international leaders include:
- Lt. Gen. James Sreenan, Chief of Staff, Irish Defense Forces
- Maj. Gen. Nick Parker, Commandant, United Kingdom Staff College
- Brig. Gen. Josef Hyman, Commandant, Israeli Infantry School
- Brig. Gen. Rahim Faizi, Deputy for Strategic and Political Military
Affairs, Afghanistan
The military forces received at Fort Benning include:

- Japanese Observer Exchange Program
Each year, Fort Benning trains students from more than 180 countries all
around the world. Through Fort Benning's International Student Detachment
Program, the following countries are among those included in training at Fort
