– the Chamber provides numerous cost efficient ways to
promote your business.
The Chamber Express e-mailed newsletter reaches
1,800 of the most influential business people
in the area twice a month.
The Chamber website,
www.columbusgachamber.com, is on the cutting edge and
the place others will be looking to do business.
The Chamber Mass FAX reaches 1,200 businesses.
Your company’s name is listed in the Membership Directory
under your category of business and additional advertising
opportunities are available.
We refer hundreds of businesses a month to callers;
only members of the Chamber are referred.

NETWORKING
EVENTS - there are two opportunities each month for you
to get out in front of about 300 prospective customers through
the Eye Opener Breakfast and Chamber
Power Lunch.
On a quarterly basis, a third opportunity is available
with the Business After Hours.

SMALL
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – small businesses comprise more
than 80% of the Chamber membership.
Our Small Business Development Department concentrates
on meeting their special needs through discount services,
workshops, seminars, and much more.

DON'T WORK

participants in this program can become a Certified Drug-Free
Workplace and receive a 7.5% discount from the premiums paid
for workers compensation insurance for up to eight years.

MINORITY
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – the
Minority Business Development Committee hosts workshops, promotes
an increased profile, and supports the growth and development
efforts of minority owned businesses. This effort includes
Black Business Outreach and Hispanic
Business Outreach.

AFFAIRS – the
Chamber employs a staff member to represent you at every level
of government – monitoring legislation and representing your
interests as a business person and citizen of our region.
By working together our voice is stronger than by working

Enrollment Programs are examples of your Chamber’s

Chamber continues to be involved in projects such as Riverfront

Affairs, Leadership Columbus, and annual inter-city visits

in.

Research Department is responsible for monitoring such vital

Chamber has an entire division dedicated to recruiting new
business to the region and assisting existing businesses with
expansion. This
includes industrial/manufacturing, commercial/retail, and
service sector/technology businesses.
Since 1988, the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of
Commerce has assisted in creating over 41,700 jobs
and over 2.38 billion dollars in
capital investment.
