Columbus Tape & Video was named the Small Business Giant for October 2013. The award was presented to owner, Brice Patterson at the Chamber Eye-Opener Breakfast on Oct. 24. The monthly Small Business Giant award is selected by the Chamber's Small Business Recognition Committee and winners must be in business for a minimum of five years and have proven growth and community service efforts.
Columbus Tape & Video (CTV) was established in 1984 as a video rental company. In 1995, the video rental portion was sold to Blockbuster video and the company was redirected toward the Audio/Visual service market. In 1998, it was established under the new name of Sun Video, Inc. (dba Columbus Tape & Video) which was located in Main Street Village for 12 years. They have become a full-service provider of audio visual services, creative solutions, and technical support for conventions, meetings, trade shows, and corporate-sponsored events in the Columbus area.
CTV has professional videographers on staff to capture everything from your special wedding to a large corporate event. In-house services include a large array of video transfer and duplication services. They can convert old film reels and out dated tape formats to digital media for years of preservation. Their duplication facility can provide small to large quantities of DVDs for distribution.
In addition, CTV offers audio visual integration solutions for churches, schools and corporate spaces representing many of the industries major manufacturers of A/V equipment. In 2012, CTV moved to its new location in the downtown district to accommodate its growth. Owner Brice Patterson and his staff are proud to be a part of the community for more than 15 years.
