COLUMBUS (September 2, 2015) – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia (BCBSGa) hosted the grand opening for its new office facility in Columbus on Wednesday. Community leaders and BCBSGa representatives were on hand to unveil the 235,000-square-foot, three-story building that can accommodate up to 2,000 associates.
Columbus State expects to offer new degree program that prepares artists for workforce

The University System of Georgia has endorsed CSU's request to add a bachelor's degree in art. The university's art department will pursue final approval from its accrediting organization, the National Association of Schools of Arts and Design, and expects to begin admitting students into the new program immediately afterward, CSU announced in a news release.
