Young Professionals

What is a Young Professional?

If you look it up you will find the term generally refers to a young person not in school who is employed in a profession or white-collar occupation, but if you look around the Columbus Region you will find that for the over 775 members of the Greater Columbus Georgia Young Professionals (YP) program it means so much more. It means connecting with peers, learning from leaders, growing professionally, becoming part of the process and giving back.

When the Greater Columbus Georgia Chamber of Commerce created the YP program in 2008 that was exactly the vision they had.  They knew that to fulfill their mission of fostering an environment that attracts and retains young talent to the Columbus Region they had to create a program that would energize, engage and empower professionals ages 21-40, from a cross-section of careers to continue the legacy of leadership, progress and growth that has shared the Greater Columbus Georgia Region.
