PROGRAM'S MISSION

Mission: to recognize the economic and community development contributions of successful small business members of the Chamber.

ACTIVITIES

• Small Business Recognition placemat sponsorship sales for the Eye Opener breakfast
• Small Business Week activities  that include, open house, networking events, workshops and seminars, a bus tour to see the new BRAC developments at Ft. Benning (in 2009) and the Small Business Week Gala to be held at the Infantry Museum ( June 2009).
• Selection of nominated companies by the Chamber members to be awarded to the HomeTown Hero and Small Business Giant given to qualified businesses.
• Selection of the Visionary award given at the Small Business week gala.
• Small Business Giant of the Year award given to the outstanding Small Business Giant of 2008.
